Scholarship Fund

We are delighted to congratulate Natalia Gerena-Roman as the recipient of the 2025 New Jersey Flute Society Scholarship.

Her outstanding application and proposal truly stood out, and we’re proud to support her artistic journey. We look forward to seeing all that she will accomplish. Congratulations, Natalia!

I'm Natalia Gerena-Roman, a rising junior and flautist. I'm principal flautist in the Sussex County Youth Orchestra, at Hopatcong High School, and a number of other musical groups. I'm also involved in drama club and a number of honor societies such as Tri-M Music Honor Society, which I am Vice-President of, and Thespian Honor Society. Music has taught me about hard work and collaborative communities. I'm excited to continue my musical journey in years to come!
