Shanshan Wu, D.M.A. is a dedicated flutist and music educator. She has performed as chamber musician and as a solo flutist at various prominent venues including the Jones Hall, Houston Fine Arts Museum, Jacob Music Center, Tallowood Baptist Church. She previously performed with a number of symphony and opera orchestras, and taught private studio and public schools in California, Texas, and China. Shanshan received her D.M.A. from Moore School of Music at University of Houston, Master of Music from the University of Redlands, and Bachelor of Music from the Xinghai Conservatory of Music in China. Her primary teachers include Aralee Dorough, Jennifer Keeney, and Sara Andon. She recently relocated to NJ and is happy to serve the community of New Jersey Flute Society.
Dr. Chelsea Tanner maintains a dynamic career as a performer, educator, and mindset coach for musicians. She has served on the faculties of SUNY Potsdam’s Crane School of Music and Penn State University. Chelsea is an active orchestral musician performing with orchestras throughout the country including the Columbus Symphony, the New Haven Symphony, the San Antonio Symphony, the Boise Philharmonic, and many others. She currently runs her own online business coaching musicians through the mental hardships of a music career. Chelsea has created several online programs dedicated to the well-being of musicians of all ages. Her mission to improve the lives of musicians through mindset coaching has been spread through lectures at over 15 universities in the past 3 years. Chelsea earned her DMA and Artist Diploma at The University of Texas at Austin with Marianne Gedigian, her MM at Carnegie Mellon University with Jeanne Baxtresser, and her BM with Katherine Borst Jones at The Ohio State University.
